I have never had any reason to search for a high-quality grooming/beard oil because I have never been able to grow much more than random patches of "beard" on my face. Although nothing has changed as far as my facial shortcomings go, I now use one of our custom grooming oils daily. Some days I feel like radiating the pleasant scent of vanilla, tobacco and cedarwood found in our highly popular Corktown Beard Oil; other days I will apply the mildly sweet aroma of vanilla and orange found in our Orchard Lake Beard Oil.  

Most days, however, I go with our Belle Isle product, as it contains lavender and orange essential oils which have a plethora of other benefits for the hair and skin, not to mention that they smell unbelievably good in combination with each other. As someone who doesn’t have a lot of facial hair, I’m partial to lavender for its homeopathic properties cited by dermatologists and aromatherapists because of its antiseptic and antifungal properties. For one, Lavender Essential Oil is all natural, and this product is said to be one of the most beneficial oils in the treatment of acne. It is often added to chamomile to treat eczema as well. As an added benefit, Lavender Essential Oil may help to prevent hair loss and act as a repellent for unpleasant things that may consider making their home in your hair. 

Other amazing benefits of Lavender Essential Oil include positively treating respiratory disorders, improving blood circulation, and even relieving pain. As for the Orange Essential Oil, it also has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties,  making it the perfect ingredient for your skin and hair routine.  In addition, Orange Essential Oil has been shown to increase the ability to absorb vitamin C, along with other anti-aging benefits.

Given the number of skin care-related benefits from using our grooming & beard oil, I have personally begun using it daily.  For example, our foundation of Sweet Almond Oil is loaded with vitamins A, B, and E which help maintain moisture levels in the skin.
